On the Adriatic Sea, along the coast and on the islands, there are numerous small towns, hamlets and villages each having their own specific colour and atmosphere. There are promenades full of tourists (e.g. Vodice) as well as little silent villages with one peculiar “konoba” (a pub) where you will be given a treat (Vrgada). There is a magnificent view of neighbouring islands, the sea and land from elevated locations on separate smaller or larger islands.
